Make a plan for your structure. If you have a new property, know the weather and how it will work. There will be a lot of accumulating goat poop and pee.

Tips For a Successful Plan 

• Do NOT gravel use sand in your shelters and feeders
• Elevate your shelter on one side to create drainage not inside
• French drain around the shelter to keep it dry inside
• This will avoid parasites, mastitis, and fleas
• More feeders will be better for clean up
• Create a plan on how to pick up bedding: pitchfork or tractor
• Have a plan to avoid long days of work
