Cattle & Sheep
Cattle & Sheep: Broad-Spectrum anthelmintic effective in the removal and control of liver flukes, tapeworms, stomach worms, intestinal worms, and lungworms.
Goats:
Albendazole dewormer is used for the treatment of adult liver flukes in non-lactating goats. Parasite resistance may develop to any dewormer and this has been reported for most classes of dewormers. Do not underdose because it may result in ineffective treatment and encourage parasite resistance. Ensure each animal receives a complete dose based on current body weight. The development of parasite resistance can be slowed down with treatment and parasite management practices which are appropriate to your geographic area. You should determine if the product is right for you through fecal examination, parasite management history and other diagnostic tests. Following the use of any dewormer, effectiveness of treatment should be monitored with the use of a fecal egg count reduction test or another appropriate method. A decrease in a drug’s effectiveness over time as calculated by fecal egg count reduction tests may indicate the development of resistance to the dewormer administered. Your parasite management plan should be adjusted accordingly based on regular monitoring. Veterinarians & research support the following DOSAGE: 4 mL/100 lb body weight. We recommend checking with your veterinarian before administering.
