“After packing countless animals out on my back, having a few close calls/ wipeouts with a heavy pack and my oldest daughter starting to hunt the backcountry with me, I decided some pack stock would be a good option.  A friend of mine had run goats and told me about some of their capabilities.  Some of the country I hunt is so rugged and steep I didn’t actually believe the goats would be able to navigate it or have the endurance to make the long, steep off-trail climbs.  The goats proved me wrong on both fronts!”
