The “Goat Shell” will keep your goats warm and dry in the back country. They are made from SUPER tough rip stop that is so HIGHLY water resistant ducks get jealous. They also double as a pannier cover if the weather decides to make things dicey on the way in or out. The dual duty of having both a goat shell and a pannier cover in one, along with the fact they weigh around a pound and fit in your hand makes these the best pack goat coat on the market today (say that three times and you get a discount…Just kidding :).
These Goat Shells have double reinforcements on the critical attachment points for 4 times the strength where it’s needed. They come in three sizes and colors. S, M, and Large. Small will fit goats up to 110 pounds. Medium will fit goats from 110-185. Large will fit goats from 185 to 240. Extra Large can be made but just email us here for special order. It’s always safer to order on the big side instead of on the small side. Each size comes in all three colors which are Green, Blue and Red.

Size small fits 110 lb goats.
Medium 110 lb – 185 lb goats.
Large sizes fit 185 lb – 240 lb goats.

These coats are great! Very lightweight and pack down small, so I can take them on any trip just in case of wind and rain. My goats spent all day and the following night in them on a recent trip when rain storms just kept rolling through the area, and they never shifted or rubbed or caused any other issues. They gave me the peace of mind I needed to get some sleep during a long rainy night knowing my goats would not get soaked if they weren’t sharing space under their tarp. Have not tried using them as pack covers yet but it’s nice to know I could!
