Large Goat Collar - Heavy-Duty, Custom-Fit for Pack Goats

The Large Goat Collar is the go-to solution for serious goat packers who demand security, durability, and ease of use. Designed to fit goats weighing between 50 and 250 pounds, this collar is hand-sewn in Rigby, Idaho by Matt Lyon of Bantam Saddle Tack—known for building some of the most rugged goat gear available.

Made with ultra-strong materials and a bomb-proof buckle, this collar is easy to put on and take off, making it ideal for packers managing multiple goats. Unlike traditional buckles that can be time-consuming and unsafe for horned goats, this collar features a quick-release system designed with safety in mind. Goats should never be left in a pasture with collars on, so having an easy on/off collar is essential.

Each collar includes a reflective center strip for increased visibility in low-light conditions—ideal for hunting trips and overnight camps. Even better, it comes with a custom nameplate that includes your goat’s name, your contact info, or both—so if your goat ever goes missing, a quick call could bring them home instead of ending up with the Forest Service.

Choose from multiple color options to easily identify your goats by name, or outfit them all in blaze orange for visibility during hunting season. Due to the custom nameplates, please allow 10+ days for shipping.
