Goats hate water, they act like it’s acid. The best way to introduce a goat to water is to do it when they are babies and make it a good experience. A warm kitty pool is a good way to get them use to water. After that you move on to cross a creek with no rocks or logs to avoid the water.

When teaching adults that are not used to crossing water lead them into the water with a collar and lead. Make them stand in the water and give them love.
