Conditioning your goats makes all the difference on trail. Here are the main ways to keep your goat fit for the trails:

  1. Play structures. Not only do they help with agility, they provide a natural constant challenge for your goats.
  2. Provide obstacles to the feeders.
  3. Limiting their feed. If left to themselves, they will overeat and get fat.
  4. Keep their hooves trimmed. Hoof Trimmers
  5. Hit the trails once or twice a week. Riding a bike or piddle jogging is the best way to get them in gear on the trail. Don’t load your goats with weight for these training sessions.
