A Baby Goat Kit For New Babies

The baby goat kit has been designed to help you start with the right tools to make goat growing a success. Here are some products to prepare you before the babies are born. Searching online for answers can be stressful. At packgoats.com our mission is to become a leading resource on all things for owning goats. In addition, help you feel confident about the information and be successful in caring for your goats.

Our Baby Goat Kit includes a small goat collar, goat tether, bottle nipple, 1 – 250mL bottle of Albendazole Dewormer, and 1 Squirt Bottle

Small Goat Collar

The small goat collar is perfect for small goat breeds and goats under about 50 lbs. This collar is the smaller version of our extremely popular Pack Goat Collar. Made with the same high-quality woven nylon webbing, these collars are durable for years to come. High-quality buckles ensure they will not come undone unexpectedly. The D-ring lead attachment point is sewn into the collar and will not rip out or break. Also, the D-ring also doubles as a bell attachment capability.

This collar adjusts from 9″ – 14″ in length, perfect for kids or small breeds. Made of single-ply 3/4″ polyester webbing, it is extremely resistant to wear and tear. The quick, simple, and easy-adjust design makes for the perfect solution to all small goat collar needs.

Features Include:

  • Sturdy buckle for easy use
  • Adjustable slide for 9″ to 14″ length
  • Sewn-in welded metal D-ring for lead or bell attachment
  • 3/4″ polyester wear-resistant webbing
  • The optimal size for young goats or dwarf breeds

Currently available in 2 color options.

Baby Pack Goat Tether

The pack goat tether is the perfect solution for the quick, simple, tethering of goats. Ideal for use in the pasture, on the stanchion, or in the trailer. The short 20-inch tether is made of high-quality wear-resistant nylon webbing.  Both ends terminate in quick capture crab-claw for fast simple attachment anywhere. This tether is ideal for restraining goats. For example, perfect for vet visits, milking, hoof trimming, or hauling. Also, with correct placement, the 20-inch tether will allow goats to lie down comfortably but still be restrained. Dual swivels on the attachments reduce the risk of twisting and tangling.

The tether is compatible with any collar style and pairs particularly well with the Pack Goat Collar.  The tether and collar together make restraining a goat very simple and eliminates the extra bulk of other leads or ropes. For example, clip it to fences, trailers, haulers, vehicle hitches, and eye-bolts.

Features of the Tether Include:

  • High-quality wear-resistant nylon webbing construction
  • Durable bar-tack stitching
  • Dual swivel tangle-resistant safe attachments
  • Crab claw-like scissor quick grab attachments
  • 20-inch length ideal for laying down or standing restraint

Ideal uses for the Tether

  • Hoof Trimming
  • Milking
  • Vet Visits
  • Transporting
  • Any need for limiting goat’s movement

Baby Goat Bottle Nipple

Our baby goat bottle nipple is specially designed to fit a 5/8″ hole in a bucket.  (For metal buckets that have thin walls, 9/16″ hole gives snugger fit.) The flange on the back of the nipple holds a plastic tube that extends down into the milk. Kids “drink through a straw.” Nipple fits onto most pop bottles.

These bottle nipples attached to a 5-gallon bucket come in handy while feeding multiple baby goats at once.Check out this YouTube video with Marc Warnke, “The Goat Guy,” where he shows you how to bottle feed with the baby goat bottle nipple in action.
